I feel sick or ill – can I do sport?

It breaks every athlete’s heart, if you get sick – I know that from my own experience.

No training when you’re sick

Laying at home in the bed feels very wrong. BUT please do not train as long as you’re ill!

Your body becomes weaker and you don’t grow your endurance. If you have flu / fever / a virus infection, it becomes dangerous! Relax, recover, read a book about mental training preparation.

Above the neck

One rule, which must not always be true, is the “above the neck” check. If your illness-symptoms are above the neck, you can train, in any other case don’t do anything. But it stays in your responsibility to decide, it’s better to talk to your doctor of trust.
